The film industry runs on who-you-know and on platforms that charge gatekeeping rent. SlateHub is the alternative: a free home for filmmakers, actors, crew, and creators. Verified profiles, reels and credits, crew search by skill and location, a job board, and production management.

No subscriptions. No ads. Open source, Apache-licensed, written in Rust, and developed in the open under the Seceda Studios organization.

It exists because I kept watching talented crews assemble productions over spreadsheets and group chats. Infrastructure this basic shouldn’t have a toll booth.
